  i was just talking to a friend of mine who is the talk coordinator at his hall.

  he was telling me that he cant get brothers to come and give talks at his hall.

  i remember when i was giving talks that was all the rage.

  have i stayed too long at the fair.

  You're "Comments" series is a tremendous "living asset" to JWD. Any lurker and/or newbie can just take a look at the current "food at the proper time" and see how the WT puts their own controlling spin on everything.

  GB MEMBER Herd Says Just Because You're A JW It Doesn't Mean Anything!

  there's a tape circulating around the witnesses stating that when the separation of the sheep and goats happens, witnesses shouldn't think that they will automatically be saved just because they're witnesses.

  if they aren't wholesouled, then they should not expect that having one foot in the "truth" and the other in the world will let them make it through the great tribulation....herd was trying to motivate the troops!

  That's cuz he ate too many Muffin Eggs (tm) at conventions back in the 70's and 80's. Those things would clog anyone up. :-)

  there was also a district convention in south florida this past weekend.

  at the christian convention center in w. palm beach.

  i had the pleasure of having to go all three days -- yes it was boring.

  Bad News: These kind of talks put a short-term damper on the efforts of folks like me (within the congregation) to sow seeds of doubt & discontent.

  MOUTHY NEEDS YOUR PRAYERS AND/OR SUPPORT

  our dear mouthy is really having a tough time right now and needs our support and/or prayers.

  as some of you may know, she's already lost 3 of her children in death and the other one to the borg.

  in the last couple of days, she's had to worry about her 2 year old great-granddaughter being in the hospital with an illness and yesterday, her daughter had a suspicious mole removed from her back and was told there is a lump in her breast which has to be biopsied.

  of course i told her we were going out to see dad.. this gave her pause because she is well aware that dad is rather deceased.
